New England Wild Flower Society is in the process of creating a digital database of botanic images of New England native plant species. If you would like to submit your images for consideration for this database, please either email them to rwlander@newenglandwild.org or mail them on a disk or memory stick to Rachel Wolff Lander, Visual Resources, New England Wild Flower Society, 180 Hemenway Road, Framingham, MA 01701.

All images must be a minimum of 300 dpi, 8"X10", and in jpeg or tiff formats. If the image is over 3 mb, please place it or a collection of them on a disk and mail them. All images must be individually labeled with subject matter, name of photographer, date taken, and place taken.

We are especially interested in photos which have strong color, contrast, and artistic value. We also need to know if you have any restrictions on the use of the photo by the Society. You need to state them in the text of your email or in a letter accompanying your disk. The Society is often asked to supply images for credit only in publications or to sell a usage of an image. You must state whether your image can or cannot be used for these purposes.

We will not be able to return any disks or memory sticks. Please plan your submissions accordingly.
