July 21 Animal Ambassadors with Curious Creatures
10-11 at Garden in the Woods. Admission $5 for non-members; $4 for members includes Garden Walk. Admission for ages 3 and up. Preregistration not available. Pay at the door.
July 24 Big Bug, Little Bug
Come to the Garden and meet our 13 Big Bugs spread along the Big Bugs Trail. (Family Program: Children with adult companion)

Do you know which insects are true bugs? And which are the most ferocious predators of other insects? (Kids grades 2-5) Wednesday, August 20, 10 a.m.-12 noon
September 20 Night Flashers Night Hike
Join us for an exciting evening learning about fireflies, moths, and other flying insects that get most active just when we’re going to bed. (Children with adult companion) Saturday, September 20, 7-8:30 p.m.
September 25 Bug Eaters of the Bog
Are you brave enough to meet a carnivorous plant face to face? Come to the Garden to see the pitcher plant, the sundew, and Venus fly-trap capture and digest their insect visitors before your eyes. (Kids grades K-2) Thursday, September 25, 3:30-5:30 p.m.
October 4 Night Vision
Join us as we learn about seeing in the dar, from lemur peepers to our own night eyes. Who sees best and how do the rest of us cope? (Children with adult companion) Saturday, October 4, 7-8:30 p.m.
