STANDING ATTRACTION:

New England Wild Flower Society’s Garden in the Woods opens April 15, 2008 featuring 1,500 native plant species and cultivars, including 200 rare and endangered species. Select from 550 native plant species at the sales nursery.  

July 12-October 31: garden-wide exhibit, David Rogers’ BIG BUGS, included with admission, with 13 giant sculptures and weekly Web-of-life Extravaganza events.

April 15-September 1: Open daily 9-7. September 2-October 31: Open daily 9-5. Free parking. Tours weekdays at 10 a.m. and weekends at 2 p.m. included with admission, no reservations required.

Admission $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students with ID, $4 for youths 3-18. Free for members and children under 3.  

Group tours are available at Garden in the Woods. Fees are per person and include admission plus group tour $11 adult tours (minimum group fee - $110.00), $9 senior citizen tours - 65+ (minimum group fee - $90), $10 mix groups of seniors and adults (minimum group fee - $100), $6 college students (minimum group fee - $60), and $4 New England Wild Flower Society members tours.

 

Cart tours are available for those needing mobility assistance and their guests. The golf cart accommodates 5 people plus we provide a guide/driver. Car tours are offered weekdays only. Price is $9 per person, $4 for New England Wild Flower Society members.

 

Children's group tours are available for preschool, elementary, and middle school groups to explore the natural woodland, brook areas, and Lost Pond. Each group experiences hands-on activities appropriate to the students' age level. We require one adult chaperone for every five children. Fee per child is $5. There is no charge for chaperones.
