New England Wild Flower Society events scheduled for 2012

New England Wild Flower Society schedules events at both Garden in the Woods, Framingham, MA, and Nasami Farm Nursery, Whately, MA. Classes and courses are also held at these facilities and at others throughout New England. Please visit the Community Bulletin Board for conservation and horticulture related events not sponsored by the Society.

 

The following is the current calendar of events for 2012:

2012 – Elemental: Exploring Energy through Art and Nature at Garden in the Woods

 

January 2012

Through March 16, 2012 – Members may walk, snowshoe, or cross country ski the paths and trails at Garden in the Woods. Sign in with receptionist in Administration building. Weekdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

February 2012

February 1 – Deadline for applications for the Atkinson and Lovejoy Fellowships

February 1 – Deadline for applications for Native Plant Curatorial Internship

February 1 – Deadline for applications for Native Plant Horticultural Internship

February 5 - Deadling for Applications for Native Plant Internship

February 8 - Deadline for applications for Nasami Farm Native Plant Internship

February 22 – March 1, 2012 – Discover Ecuador: Jewel of South America from the Andes to the Amazon

 

March 2012

October 19 – Members Day and evening party – Night of Illumination: annual luminaria lighting and party

October 31 – Closing Day for the Season – Garden in the Woods
