Meadow Gardens
An expanse of meadow, large or small, can be an exhilarating addition to
your landscape. The changing array of colors and textures is much more
fun than a plain lawn, and can support a much wider range of wildlife
including butterflies, bobolinks, and meadowlarks. Meadow gardens also require much less
maintenance than a traditional lawn, benefitting from a yearly mowing
rather than a weekly one. In this class we will see examples of many
meadows and learn how to design and care for one.
