For the Birds
Our feathered friends could use a little help from humans this time of year. Come to the Garden to learn how some birds survive the cold and ways we help them. How do bird beaks, feet, and feathers work to keep these little bundles of energy alive? How do they find food, water, and shelter when the temperatures fall so low? We will build several kinds of bird feeders and make a mini field guide to help us identify the birds that might pay you a call.
