Night Flashers & Flyers

Families may picnic at the Garden before the program.

Join us for an exciting evening learning about fireflies, moths and other flying insects that get most active just when we’re going to bed.  We’ll play games to discover how fireflies and moths use their senses to find their mates in the dark.  We’ll hike down to the meadow to look for flashing fireflies and fluttering moths going about their business. After a snack, we will make a special firefly project to use at home.
