Do you wonder what kinds of snakes might be living in the woods near your house?  Have you ever caught a glimpse of a snake just as it disappeared into some shrubs and wished for a closer look?  Here is your chance to see local and exotic snakes close up.  Rick Roth, snake specialist and President of the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team will share some of his favorite snakes and talk about their lives and habits.

Along some a few exotic varieties, look for some of common and not so common local snakes including a northern water snake, garter snake, ribbon snake, rattlesnake, copperhead, eastern milk snake and ring-necked snake. Note:  The snakes may vary according to their availability on the day.
