This field trip offers an insight into a unique collaborative effort at land management and a chance to explore some of a 4,000-acre unfragmented block of fields, forests and wetlands being preserved by the Northwood Land Management Collaborative. Join members of the NLMC, a group of neighbors, working "over stone walls" for this walk through the property, which encompasses the headwaters of the Lamprey River.  Find out about the ecological significance of the area, discover wildlife habitats, and study some of the significant botany on the property. Walk part of the 5-mile trail linking properties in the neighborhood, and enjoy lunch by a lake in the state park.  Bring lunch and water.
