Bug Eaters of the Bog

Children in Grades K-2

Are you brave enough to meet a carnivorous plant face to face?  Come to the Garden to see the pitcher plant, the sundew and Venus fly-trap capture and digest their insect visitors before your eyes.  We will learn about these strange and wonderful plants, visit some of them in their bog habitat, examine them under microscopes and build a working model of a pitcher plant to take home.
