Ferns have populated the earth for over 220 million years. The ferns we see today at Garden in the Woods have remained almost identical to their prehistoric ancestors. From their unique anatomy to their lush green foliage, ferns contribute something special and irreplaceable. Their shady fronds and resilient beauty bring to the Garden a calming sense of history.
