Early Season

Retail director and horticulturist Nicola Cataldo reports, "The phlox are popping. Dense, lush mats of foliage with blossoms in white, pink, lilac or blue creeping through your shade or part sun garden are a welcome sight in spring.  Native irises are also in bud and bloom now and make a great companion planting.  Their blue, purple and white color combinations are harmonious but the sheer verticality of their broad leaves gives a pleasing contrast in form and texture"

The Society's Nasami Farm is open Thursday-Sunday, 10-5 from April 17 through June 8.

Garden in the Woods nursery is open daily  April 15-October 31.
