Two awards were given this year for the Society’s Awards for Outstanding Service. Gwen Collins received one of the Outstanding Service to the Society Awards for fourteen years of enthusiastic volunteer service to New England Wild Flower Society at Garden in the Woods, including membership outreach and children’s education.  A posthumous award was given to Dr. Marylee Everett for many years of invaluable service to the Plant Conservation Volunteer program and its precursor, and for superior dedication to the Society’s Conservation Department as a weekly volunteer. Allen Everett accepted the award for his late wife.
